Tuesday, September 23rd is National Voter Registration Day, a day when volunteers, celebrities, and organizations from all over the country will "hit the streets" to create pervasive awareness of voter registration opportunities.

In 2008, 6 million Americans didn't vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn't know how to register. In 2014, we want to make sure no one is left out, especially Teamster members. There is so much at stake in this year's elections; we can't afford a repeat of 2010.

The IBT and Local 264 are supporting partners of National Voter Registration Day. In New York State the deadline to register is October 14th in order to vote in this years election.
